Cycling route ‘Venray-Overloon’

Neighbouring villages Overloon and Venray are closely tied by their war history. Both were badly hit during the Battle of Overloon. This cycling route includes 10 locations between both places that are clearly related to the war. Among the most interesting places are: Holthees (Liberation Route audio spot 118), the English military cemeteries in Overloon and Venray, the Overloon War Museum (Liberation Route audio spot 117), the Norfolk monument and the former Vredeskerk in Venray.
