Overloon War Cemetery

Overloon War Cemetery is a British cemetery at Vierlingsbeekseweg in Overloon. 279 graves here are British, one is Dutch. Most of the 265 soldiers and 14 airmen were killed in the October and November 1944 fighting during the advance of the British Second Army. The region to the south and west of the Maas was liberated from the Germansand the Battle of Overloon, a 10-day tank battle, took place.
