Today Blitterswijck's militia, the St. Antonius Abt Gilde, is located on this site. They rebuilt the bridge over the canal to the former printing house and the castle gate, which was festively opened on 10-11-2019. There are ambitions to further develop the remains of the castle and the grounds into a pleasant place that does justice to the castle's history and at the same time offers more possibilities for use.
